Exciting Opportunity for Med/Surg RNs!** **Job Description:** - Location: Nashville, TN - Unit: 6th, Post-Op Med/Surg - Number of Beds: 34 - Patient Ratios: 6:1 - Unit Staffing: - Tech support available on days and nights - Unit secretary on site from 7 AM to 7 PM - Equipment Utilized: - IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCDs - Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps - PCA, EKG Machines, Bladder Scanner, iMobile Communication Technology - Documentation System: Meditech - Scheduling: - Work 3 shifts of 12 hours per week - 2 weekends (4 shifts) in a 4-week schedule - Floating Policy: - Contract labor will float first - Rotation used for multiple contract staff - Patient Experience: - Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care - Bedside shift reports - Build personal connections with patients and their families - Certifications: - Comprehensive Stroke Center - ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center - Certified Chest Pain Center **Hiring Profile:** - Required Skills: - Med/Surg experience - Ability to prioritize care and multitask - Proficient in starting IVs - Basic wound care - Maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes - Must Have: - Active RN License - BLS Certification **Dress Code:** - Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
