# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Acute Surgery Unit) – GeorgiaStart Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, schedule variesHighlights:
  • Acute Surgery Unit specializing in medical-surgical care for post-operative patients
  • Exposure to diverse surgical case mix including general surgery, colorectal, bariatric, and plastic surgery procedures
  • Contract assignment with start date in October 2026
  • Night shift schedule providing continuity of care for surgical patients
  • Holiday coverage required as part of assignment expectations
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience, preferably in acute surgical care
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience with post-operative care and surgical patient management preferred
  • Willingness to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location
