Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized patient care plans
  • Implement and evaluate total nursing care for a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary patient care team members
  • Maintain and uphold standards for professional nursing practice within the clinical setting
  • Develop and support systems to deliver consistent, high-quality care across a 13-bed adult Medical/Surgical unit
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or compact eligibility
  • Minimum of 6 months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
  • Ability to work a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
  • Competency in patient assessment, care planning, and nursing diagnosis
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working with a broad patient population including pediatric through geriatric age groups
  • Familiarity with staffing ratios of 1:5 in a Medical/Surgical environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary care team
