Responsible for monitoring and assessing patient conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Assist with patient education and discharge planning. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrate strong patient advocacy skills. Must be able to manage a busy floor and maintain patient ratios of 1:6. Additional tasks may include floating to surgical, neuro, and intermediate care as needed.
