**Exciting Opportunity for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- Shift: 3x12 hour Nights
- Preferred Experience: 2 years
- Travel experience preferred
- Charting: Epic
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
**Patient Diagnoses Include:**
- Sepsis
- CIWA
- Confusion
- Acute Mental Status Changes (AMS)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Post-operative care
- Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
- Trauma
- Respiratory failure
- Bowel obstruction
- Pyelonephritis
- Cardiac conditions
- Diabetes
- Gastrointestinal (GI) conditions
- Isolation precautions
- Suicidal ideation with medical indications
**Essential Job Functions:**
- Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process across all age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.
- Document thoroughly as care is delivered, adhering to regulatory and hospital requirements.
- Assume responsibility for clinical competencies and professional development for self and others.
- Deliver quality patient care through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Utilize good judgment and demonstrate patience in all interactions.
- Maintain professionalism in a busy and stressful environment.
- Exhibit strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Medical Records software.
