**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Augusta, Georgia
- **Unit:** 5 West
- **Number of Beds:** 40
- **Patient Ratios:** 1 nurse to 7 patients
- **Team Structure:**
- 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator
- 7 Nurses
- 4 Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- 1 Unit Clerk (UC) per shift
- **Standard Equipment:**
- Regular medical equipment for med-surg unit
- **Documentation System:** Meditech
- **Schedule:**
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating weekends
- **Floating Policy:**
- Contract labor first to float to like units
- **Experience Requirements:**
- 1+ years of med-surg RN experience
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
- Current BLS certification
- Active Georgia RN license
- **Advanced Skills:** No advanced skills required
- **Procedures Performed on Unit:**
- EKGs
- Glucose Checks
- Venipuncture
- **Dress Code:**
- Royal blue top and bottom
