Schedule: 32-bed medical-surgical unit; rotating weekends; day and night shifts available; patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
Highlights:
- Work within a collaborative team structure including charge nurses, staff nurses, patient care technicians, and unit coordinators
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for accurate and efficient patient documentation
- Standard medical-surgical equipment including IV pumps and vital signs machines
- Float to other medical-surgical areas to support facility needs and expand clinical experience
- Professional dress code with navy scrubs
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience with Meditech EMR is required
- Medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with hourly rounding and AIDET communication principles is preferred
