# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical – Texas
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, 13-week contract
Highlights:- 14-bed Medical/Surgical unit with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Night shift staffing includes 3 RNs, 1 Patient Care Technician, and 1 Charge Nurse float
- EMR system: Meditech; equipment includes Alaris pumps
- Procedures include bronchoscopy, EGD, and colonoscopy support
- Collaborative team environment with experienced, tenured staff
- Opportunity for permanent placement available
Requirements:- Active RN license in good standing
- BLS certification (required)
- NIHSS certification (required)
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Rhythm interpretation skills (preferred)
- Medical/Surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
