Floating Requirement – May float to other Medical Surgical Telemetry level of care departments
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
Basic Life Support certification, 6 months of experience caring for medical surgical patients.
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
Bachelor s prepared, Charge nurse experience
Advanced med surg certification (MSRN)
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Peripheral IV insertion, NGTube management
Patients on telemetry monitors, Dressing changes and central line management
