Description:
The position is for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.
This role requires working nights, with shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6.
Floating to other units may be required to meet facility needs.
Every other weekend is a staffing requirement.
No on-call duty is required.
The unit has a total of 54 beds.
Candidates must have IV start skills and experience with telemetry.
Strong communication and patient care skills are essential.
The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients.
Familiarity with Epic charting system is preferred.
Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season.
The expected daily census in the unit is around 24 patients.
This position requires completing all pre-start compliance on time.
