# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical – Texas
Start Date: November 24, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 48-hour contract per week, 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
Highlights:- 23-bed Diabetic Endocrine unit specializing in medical-surgical care
- 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio with strong team support including 6 RNs and 1-2 PCTs per shift
- Meditech EMR system
- Travel assignment with comprehensive general med-surg experience
- Floating opportunities across acute care areas including telemetry, neurology, orthopedics, renal transplant, and general surgery
- Consistent night shift schedule providing work-life balance
Requirements:- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Strong time management skills essential
- Experience with general medical-surgical practices and procedures
- Ability to float to all acute care areas as needed
- Professional demeanor and adherence to facility dress code policies
