Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 in accordance with unit standards
- Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
- Float between units based on skill set and patient care needs, including potential float to sister facilities in the region
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Work every other weekend or every weekend as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Must have a personal vehicle available for this assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler (locals considered at a different rate)
- Must submit all requested time off and scheduling needs upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
- Background must be clear of Nursys or background check hits per facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience floating between units or facilities in a travel or per-diem capacity
