The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. The nurse will be required to float as needed throughout the unit. The following certifications are required: BLS and ACLS. Experience with telemetry is preferred. All nurses will be responsible for tracheostomy care and management. Interdisciplinary support will be available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Charting will be done using the Epic system. Travel nurses are welcomed to apply. Candidates must not have any license hits.
