Description:
This position involves working in a medical-surgical unit.
The unit has 30 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6.
Staff support includes Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, and Patient Care Technicians.
Equipment utilized includes walkers, IV pumps, and SCDs.
Documentation is done using a specific system.
Scheduling requires 4 weekend shifts within a 28-day schedule.
The role includes participation in a holiday rotation.
Floating to other units is part of the staffing policy.
Patient experience standards require maintaining a satisfaction rate of 72%.
Advanced medical-surgical experience is necessary.
Experience with respiratory diseases, renal diseases, gastrointestinal illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters, indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions is essential.
The dress code requires navy blue scrubs.
