Description:
The unit specializes in various medical-surgical diagnoses.
These include general medical-surgical, peritoneal dialysis, and radial bands recovery.
Every other weekend coverage is required.
The schedule is flexible, with no pre-approved schedule requests.
There is no call requirement for this position.
Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be necessary.
In this role, you will be expected to work on major holidays as outlined.
The facility supports interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and more.
Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 20 patients with a 20-room capacity.
Compliance with onboarding requirements is essential for a timely start.
All compliance documents must be submitted promptly.
Orientation modules are completed during the first week and will vary by specialty.
Travelers will be accepted but must meet specified requirements.
This position requires proficient management of specific clinical skills such as IVs and telemetry.
