Implement and monitor patient care plans; record and communicate patient condition as appropriate
Serve as the primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment while working with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
Follow Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or a compact state license
Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
Ability to work up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
Availability to work holidays based on department needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical-Surgical setting
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Experience with discharge planning and care coordination
