Registered Nurses are expected to perform their own vital sign checks and blood glucose checks.
This is a float pool position, requiring flexibility on scheduling.
Candidates must have experience floating to various medical surgical units.
Patient population includes adults to geriatrics.
Staffing ratios are approximately 1:5-6.
Extensive experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
Scrub color is navy blue.
Weekend work is required, with an average of 6 weekends in a 13-week contract.
Travelers are expected to work during major holidays as outlined.
Full compliance is required to start on time.
Compliance documents must be submitted in a timely manner.
Travelers must be willing to float to other units as necessary.
Limited ancillary staff may be present in some units.
The position involves handling various medical-surgical diagnoses.
