Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical acute care setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to a variable shift schedule
