Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 14-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Operate and manage infusion therapy using Alaris pumps
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the Meditech EMR system
- Assist with and support procedures including bronchoscopy and EGD/colonoscopy
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RNs, PCTs, and a float charge nurse coordinator
- Adapt to a rotating weekend schedule and contribute as a flexible, team-oriented member of the unit
Required Qualifications- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification
- Rhythm interpretation skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong adaptability and team-player mindset
