**Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN MedSurg!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Medical Unit 610, 5th Floor, Main Building
- **Shift:** 7A-7P
**Unit Overview:**
- **Number of Beds:** 43
- **Total Staff:** Approximately 70
- **Day Shift Composition:**
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 1 Unit Secretary
- 9-10 RNs
- 4 CNAs
- **Night Shift Composition:**
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 9-10 RNs
- 4 CNAs
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 1:5-6 days
- 1:6 nights
**Required Skills:**
- **Must Have:**
- Previous med/surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
- **Preferred:**
- Meditech experience
**Typical Procedures:**
- Any type of surgery excluding cardiac and open neuro surgery
**Ideal Candidate:**
- Willing to jump in and be a team player
- Able to ask questions when unsure of processes
**Dress Code:**
- Royal blue scrubs
**Scheduling:**
- Self-scheduling allowed within reason for balanced schedules
- Rotating weekends required
**Floating Areas:**
- Medical unit, ER to provide med/surg hold nurse capabilities
