Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical.
The nurse will work on a Med/Surg Floor.
This position involves a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.
The patient ratios will be 1:6.
Nursing care will include patients diagnosed with conditions such as sepsis, CIWA, confusion, acute respiratory failure, and others.
The nurse will float as necessary within required competencies.
Every other weekend coverage is expected.
The facility has interdisciplinary support, including IV teams, therapy services, and pharmacy.
The daily census is 48 patients.
Preferred experience includes trauma and a familiarity with charting systems.
Candidates must have experience managing medical/surgical conditions and perform necessary assessments and interventions.
Skills in various clinical procedures are essential, such as managing feeding tubes, administering blood products, and performing wound care.
