Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4
- Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
- Float between units within the facility as needed based on staffing requirements
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at a different rate)
- Must submit all time-off requests and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submission; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)
- Background check required; facility does not accept background hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a Medical Surgical setting within an acute care environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience working in high-census or float-capable environments
