**Job Description:**

- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care.
- Stay informed through unit communications, huddles, and emails to ensure cohesive teamwork.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for effective documentation and patient management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform patient assessments and document educational needs during admissions.
- Conduct effective patient handoffs using tools like SBAR and bedside reporting.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding patient updates and care plans.
- Maintain up-to-date mandatory competencies and relevant certifications.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Current Oklahoma Licensure as an RN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Med-Surg or Critical Care settings.
- Ability to float to different units as needed.
**Preferred Certifications:**
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
- OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
