Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting with patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6
Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Float within scope of practice as needed across applicable units
Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling requirement
Adhere to an 84-hour biweekly schedule (alternating 3×12 and 4×12 weeks); blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Required Qualifications
Active Kentucky state license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission - no exceptions
AHA BLS certification required
AHA ACLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted (medical and religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
Must live within 75 miles of the facility to be eligible; local candidates only
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Demonstrated flexibility with float assignments across units
Experience working in high-census or variable-ratio environments
