The unit accepts first-time travelers. We have a daily census of 24 patients. The unit includes adults and geriatric patients. Daily responsibilities involve providing care for patients with various respiratory conditions. Experience with non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and telemetry is required. We provide interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Travelers are expected to float to similar units as needed based on facility requirements. All travelers will receive a brief orientation on the unit. Modules will be completed onsite during orientation and recorded via transcripts.
