Description:
Contract position for an RN in the Medical Surgical unit.
The assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks.
The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
There are no on-call requirements.
The unit features 32 beds and has a staff of 50.
The patient ratio during the day is 1 nurse to 5 patients, and 1 nurse to 6 patients at night.
Equipment used includes vital signs machines and communication devices.
Experience with transplants, dialysis patients, and diabetic patients is preferred.
The unit performs all surgical procedures, including kidney transplants.
Candidates must be team players and take initiative.
The dress code requires navy scrubs.
The unit has received recognition as a Unit of Distinction.
New technology and equipment are available to staff.
