Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting. Nurse-patient ratios are 6:1. The unit consists of 12 beds and includes both day and night shift staffing. The day shift consists of 2 RNs, 1 patient care technician, and 1 float clinical nurse. The night shift consists of the same staffing structure. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Compassion, motivation, and collaboration are essential personality traits for this role. Candidates with Meditech experience will be given priority consideration. Every other weekend is required for this position. Timeliness for shift huddles is critical, with arrival expected 15 minutes prior to the start of shifts. Call-ins must be made a minimum of 2 hours prior to the start of a shift. The required dress code is royal blue scrubs.
