Description:
Travel RN position available in Med Surg unit.
The unit has a total of 43 beds and approximately 70 staff members.
Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 unit secretary, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs.
Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs.
Patient ratios are 1:5-6 during the day and 1:6 at night.
The unit utilizes EMR software.
Candidates with Meditech experience will be given preference.
The unit performs a variety of surgeries, excluding cardiac and open neuro surgeries.
Ideal candidates will be team players, willing to jump in, and able to ask questions when unsure of processes.
Self-scheduling is allowed within reason for a balanced schedule.
Rotating weekends are required.
