**Join Our Dynamic Team as an Acute Travel RN: Med/Surg (9th Floor)!** **Job Description:** - **Position**: Acute Travel RN - **Unit**: Med/Surg (9th Floor) - **Shift**: 7 PM - 7 AM - **Contract Length**: 13 Weeks - **Orientation**: Weekly on Mondays **Facility Highlights**: - Tertiary care regional referral hospital - Known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes - Advanced technology and specialized services, including: - Level 1 Trauma Center - Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery - High-risk Obstetrical Care **Unit Information**: - Number of Beds: 44 beds across two nursing stations - Patient Ratios: 6:1 (can be up to 7:1) - Patient Population: Adult, Trauma, Ortho, Urology, Colorectal, Surgical - EHR System: EPIC **Position Requirements**: - Must have 2+ years of experience - EPIC experience required - Must manage a patient ratio of 7:1 - Flexible, friendly, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment - Ability to float to units with comparable patient populations **Shift Details**: - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule (minimum of 2 weekends scheduled) **Dress Code**: - Professional appearance; no designated scrub color - No facial piercings other than a one-sided nose stud **Clearance Requirements**: - All candidates must have complete and clear screenings before starting - Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance - Department of Human Services Fingerprinting - FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting - PATCH—PA State Police Clearance **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
