# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical – Austin, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, 4 weekend shifts per month, no call required
Highlights:- 28-bed medical-surgical unit specializing in neurological and epilepsy care
- Patient ratios of 5:1 to 6:1 with strong team support including charge nurse and patient care technicians
- Telemetry monitoring experience preferred; work with advanced equipment including video EEG and telemetry systems
- EMR: Meditech experience beneficial
- 13-week contract assignment with no on-call requirements
- Collaborative night shift team of 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 3 PCTs
Requirements:- Current RN license in Texas or compact state licensure
- BLS certification required
- Hospital medical-surgical nursing experience required
- 3+ years of nursing experience preferred
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Epilepsy care experience is a plus
- NIHSS certification preferred
