Looking for Registered Nurses specializing in MICU. Shift consists of four 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Experience in managing patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and multi-organ failure is essential. Responsibilities include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care, and continuous IV sedation. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on patient acuity. The unit cares for patients experiencing respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, and acute stroke management. Additional skills include arterial line management, continuous IV paralytics, and pre/post hemodialysis management. Interdisciplinary support is available from various healthcare teams. The unit has a daily census of 16 patients with a total of 18 beds. Candidates should be adaptable and prepared to float to other areas as needed. Nursing staff will work with advanced equipment including CRRT, IABP, and ECMO.
