Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical ICU – Kansas

Start Date: October 1, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Patient ratio typically 2:1 (estimated, not guaranteed)

Highlights:

• 26-bed Medical ICU in a large trauma facility with advanced critical care capabilities
• Travel RN opportunity with comprehensive unit support including charge nurses and patient care technicians on each shift
• Exposure to advanced equipment and procedures including CRRT, moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN
• Collaborative team of 65+ nursing staff committed to excellence in critical care
• Opportunities to utilize specialized skills including Sono IV and continuous renal replacement therapy

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact state licensure
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU RN hospital experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Experience traveling to large trauma facilities strongly preferred
• Sono IV and CRRT experience a plus
