Highlights:

• Work in a Level I Trauma Center MICU with diverse, complex patient populations including sepsis, respiratory failure, multiorgan dysfunction, ARDS, renal/liver failure, GI bleeds, and oncology patients
• Advanced critical care experience with specialized procedures including bedside tracheostomies, PEGs, CVC placement, bedside EGD, bronchoscopy, and mass transfusion protocols
• Utilize cutting-edge equipment including CVVHD, Swan Ganz catheters, Level 1 Rapid Infuser, and Blakemore tubes
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and specialty services
• 36 hours of orientation provided; floating to ICU, intermediate, and telemetry units as needed
• First-time travelers welcome; block scheduling may be considered

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of MICU experience required
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Charge experience preferred
• Valid state RN license required at time of submission
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearance required
• Must complete compliance labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Requested time off must be submitted at time of application
