Description:
This position requires a registered nurse to work in the Medical ICU.
The shift is four nights per week from 19:00 to 07:30.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, subject to change based on need.
The nurse will assist with holiday coverage for a duration of either 13 or 26 weeks.
Floating to like units or other facilities may be required as per census needs.
The documentation system used is EPIC.
The unit will review first-time travelers based on their experience.
Candidates should have previous charge experience and be familiar with patient ratio management.
All travelers must have experience and competencies documented for floating to other units.
Orientation hours total 16.
Reimbursement for completion of required modules is available.
