Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating day/night schedule (4 weeks days, 4 weeks nights), every other weekend required, no on-call
Highlights:

- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 2 years of MICU or critical care experience
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
- Epic charting system experience required
- Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Clinical skills: ventilator management, care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership role)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
