Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Texas

Start Date: September 22, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, weekend rotation, floating as needed based on unit requirements

Highlights:
  • 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic Medical Intensive Care Unit
  • Comprehensive ICU case mix including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
  • Advanced equipment experience including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
  • Meditech electronic medical record system
  • Staffing assignments based on patient acuity and clinical skill level
  • No call requirements
Requirements:
  • Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU (MICU) or Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) experience required
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred
  • Meditech documentation system experience preferred
  • Proficiency with bedside ICU procedures and critical care equipment
