Job Opportunity – Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, weekend rotation, floating as needed based on unit requirements
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic Medical Intensive Care Unit
- Comprehensive ICU case mix including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations
- Advanced equipment experience including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
- Meditech electronic medical record system
- Staffing assignments based on patient acuity and clinical skill level
- No call requirements
Requirements:
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU (MICU) or Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) experience required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification preferred
- Meditech documentation system experience preferred
- Proficiency with bedside ICU procedures and critical care equipment
