Job Opportunity – Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Highlights:
- Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) assignment with exposure to critical care environments
- Float opportunities across three ICUs and Emergency Departments for patient holds
- Minimum 18 months of permanent ICU/Critical Care experience required
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license required prior to submission
- Contract extensions available up to 18 months with facility approval
- Comprehensive orientation including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
Requirements:
- Active RN license - Ohio permanent or Compact State (must be in hand at time of application)
- Minimum 18 months recent permanent Critical Care/ICU experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification preferred
- One recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in Critical Care specialty (within past 12 months)
- Willingness to float to multiple ICU units and Emergency Departments as needed
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Influenza vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
