Must-Have Skills/Experience:

All licensed co-workers providing direct patient care must pass a medication and math competency test before administering medication.
This exam covers knowledge of commonly used drugs and math regarding correct dosages and IV problems.
A passing grade of 90% is required, with one retake allowed.
Failure to pass the retake may result in termination of employment.
Description:
The position is for an ICU Registered Nurse.
This is a fast-paced environment where critical care is provided.
The unit consists of 32 beds with patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1.
Nurses are required to float to stepdown and med-surg as needed.
The work schedule includes every other weekend.
Candidates should possess an upbeat and driven personality to thrive in this role.
Dress code requires the wearing of black scrubs and prohibits open-toe shoes.
