Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours (19:00–07:00)
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, which may include COVID-positive patients
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
Float to rehabilitation unit as needed based on staffing requirements
Adhere to facility policies including tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment standards
Work assigned holidays per contract requirements
Required Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC
Current NIHSS certification
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
Travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
Experience caring for rehabilitation or post-acute patients
Familiarity with Medical Surgical unit workflows and protocols
