Contract (13–20 week options) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
- AHA ACLS certification required and must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required
- No open background case findings or license hits — background results are reviewed by the facility
- Locals accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience gained within a single location
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Experience working in a high-volume acute care hospital environment
