Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of a float pool, rotating across Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed
• Float to any Med Surg/Telemetry unit or ER Telemetry Holding area (Med Surg/Tele patients only)
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data for assigned patients
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and clinical standards
• Adapt quickly to varying unit environments and patient populations within the float pool assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple Med Surg/Telemetry units throughout the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior float pool or multi-unit experience
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Experience in an ER Telemetry Holding environment
