Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during day shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a contract basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
