Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and telemetry readings, escalating concerns as appropriate
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- BLS certification required
- Experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a contract basis
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an acute care environment
- Experience working in a high-volume inpatient unit
