Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 16-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a float pool capacity, rotating across Med Surg/Telemetry units and ER Tele Holding (Med Surg/Tele patients only)
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adapt quickly to varying unit environments and patient acuity levels as required by float pool assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
- Ability and willingness to float to any Med Surg/Telemetry or ER Tele Holding unit as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
- Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, varied clinical settings
