Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an acute care environment
