Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
- Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
- Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, which may vary based on unit needs
- Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census and unit demands, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated and documented
- Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes
- Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in LTAC MS/Tele, Medical Surgical, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible (night shift Adult Medical Tele / Progressive Care specialty); candidates between 50–99.9 miles may be subject to a reduced bill rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers with strong relevant experience will be considered
- Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
- Experience across multiple acute care settings including MS, Tele, and PCU
