Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Provide care for patients on a general medical/surgical floor, including post-operative patients requiring overnight stays
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and medical-surgical nursing interventions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN state license required
- Minimum of 2 years of previous Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience required
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- NIHSS certification required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Comfort with floating across units and campuses within the same discipline
