Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Provide care on a general medical/surgical floor, including post-operative patients requiring overnight stays
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry observation
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN State License (required)
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience required
- At least 1 completed travel contract required
- Valid Driver's License required
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
- 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
- Must have a taxable address located at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with EPIC EMR
- Experience in a medical/surgical or telemetry setting
- Comfort with floating across units or campuses
