Key Responsibilities
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Deliver nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients during night shift hours.
- Manage a patient ratio of 5–6 patients per nurse on night shift.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and coordinate patient care.
- Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa RN state license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous RN experience required.
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract required.
- Demonstrated experience with EPIC EMR required.
- Active BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry setting.
- Familiarity with travel nursing environments and multi-campus healthcare systems.
