Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Travel, Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Perform EKG interpretation, IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and vital sign monitoring
- Administer medications and conduct point-of-care testing, including blood glucose monitoring
- Complete thorough assessment documentation using Cerner EMR
- Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) as needed
- Float to other units in accordance with facility floating requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical experience required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry combined unit setting
- Familiarity with RSI assistance and point-of-care testing protocols
- Prior travel nursing experience
